Global OFW deployment surges to 1.376M in 2008

MANILA, Jan. 29 (PNA) -- The total global deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) surged to more than 1.376 million in more than 190 host destinations worldwide in 2008, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Thursday reported.
