The property arm of Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) said Tuesday that its Manhattan Garden City project in Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City will shore up “substantial amount” of sales revenue to the company.

In a statement, Megaworld Corp. said it is expecting P6 billion in sales revenues from the third phase of its Manhattan Garden project dubbed as Manhattan Heights.

“The first two phases of Manhattan Garden City are now sold out and with the strong backing of the Araneta Group, Manhattan Heights will surely post a stellar performance,” Andrew Tan, Megaworld chairman and chief executive, said.

“With the record-breaking pace that Megaworld’s sales team has achieved for Manhattan Garden City so far, we expect that the schedule for completing this new city will accelerate even further, even with the effects of the current crisis.” he added.

The combined six towers of the first two phases—with about 2,200 condominium units—were fully sold in just over two years.

The four-tower Manhattan Heights will be constructed at the current bus terminal across Ali Mall. The first tower of the project will have 406 residential units with balconies. According to Megaworld, a studio unit will cost P2.5 million, a one-bedroom unit will be sold for for P3.7 million and a two-bedroom unit for P6.1 million. Among the amenities Manhattan Heights will have include skylights, jogging path, pools and garden decks at the podium level.

The Manhattan Garden City is a joint project of Megaworld and the Araneta Group.
