PHINMA Property Holdings Corp. on Wednesday said it would launch three major projects this year despite the economic crisis.
During the launch of the company’s seventh project, Willie Uy, Phinma Properties president, said the eight would be launched next month, while two more are under negotiations.
He said the company is eyeing to build residential areas in the southern part of Metro Manila.
Despite their bid for more projects, the company, however, is in no hurry to list at the local bourse. “We’ll wait for the right time. We want to make sure that the market is strong. As far as we are concerned we will continue to expand in what we are doing because we are not affected [of the crisis],” Uy said.
The company on Wednesday launched Sofia Bellevue, a residential mid-rise condominium located in Capitol Hills, Old Balara, Quezon City. The 1.7-hectare development project costs P600 to P700 million inclusive of the land’s value. It has five residential buildings consisting of 748 units.
The selling price starts at P41,000 a square-meter, or P861,000 for a 21-square-meter unit. Prices of the 36-square-meter unit range from P1.43 million to P1.52 million, while the 40-square- meter unit ranges from P1.64 million to P1.76 million.
Sofia Bellevue follows earlier projects such as the Fountain Breeze, San Benissa Garden Villas, Spazio Bernardo, Spazio Bernardo West Villas, Sunny Villas and Smile Citihomes.
Uy said the company will stick to its residential projects, shunning in the meantime commercial ventures.
